Nick Katzenbach


Nick Katzenbach is a senior business development executive with significant experience managing national sales, solutions, and delivery organizations across a broad portfolio of enterprise consulting businesses. He joined The Evanston Group in February 2020 as a member of the executive team and head of sales.

He brings to the role over two decades of digital transformation experience combined with a track record of building successful sales teams that consistently deliver top-line growth, strong client partnerships and increased business value.

At The Evanston Group, Nick is part of the team driven to scale the company and its servicing of top global pharmaceutical, medical device, and other leaders in the life sciences industry. In this capacity, he is building a new digital transformation practice. This practice will support growing demand from life sciences clients for the latest digital platforms, transformation capabilities and hard-to-find consulting talent, critical to their systems and approach to product development, and accelerating the creation of disease-treatment options, life-saving drugs, new medical devices and the development of patient centric approaches and personalized medicine therapies.

Nick leads through teamwork, digital innovation, and an unwavering commitment to customer, employee and partner relationships. As Senior Vice President at RevUnit, a rapidly growing digital product agency, Nick was responsible for global top-line revenue growth across new and existing customer engagements, serving a notable client roster of some of the largest Fortune 100 companies. He built and motivated a highly talented sales team, tripling revenue growth in three years and helping the company earn recognition as one of the Fastest Growing Companies in America.

As Vice President of Enterprise Digital at HCL, a worldwide technology leader, Nick managed a team of 25 sales and solution architects scaling pipeline and revenues by 2x during his two-year tenure. The work expanded capabilities, key relationships and drove the enterprise transformation agendas, UX (user experience) design strategies, and omni-channel implementations for some of the world’s most influential brands across the life sciences, aerospace, manufacturing and oil & gas industries.

At NTT DATA Corporation, as Vice President of Retail & Consumer Products, Nick led a seven-person, senior-level North American team selling a portfolio of enterprise services, including performance management, cloud, mobile, in-memory database, analytics and application management services.

Nick started his professional career in enterprise resource planning (ERP) software and systems integration consulting. He held a variety of sales leadership roles in this arena and consistently exceeded sales targets working for Optimal Solutions, DC&M Partners, and SAP America.

Nick earned his bachelor’s degree in business marketing from the University of Phoenix and is a certified recording engineer having attended the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences. He spent two years in Hamburg, Germany on a volunteer service mission and is proficient in reading, writing and speaking German.
